UNICEF send three Neat Mobile Off Road Clinics to Eritrea

Neat Vehicles were commissioned to build three of these Iveco 4 x 4 Off Road Clinics for UNICEF to go to Eritrea to go into the mountains to assist people in remote areas. The vehicles were built on the well proven Iveco Daily 5.5 ton 4 x 4 chassis cab which has a short wheelbase. The body is a composite construction mounted on a steel subframe and incorporates a generator compartment housing a 5 KVA Diesel Generator on one side and a stepwell on the other side. The steps are a hinge down type with adjustable legs on them. The door can be opened and closed with the steps up or down. The interior features storage cupboards to the rear with medical fridge, sink, hot water heater, clean and waste water tanks and water pump. The clinic section features wall mounted equipment, an LED examination lamp on lockable arm, an electrically adjustable three section examination couch, medical stool and chairs, sharps bin and waste sack holder. There is a tall storage cupboard to the side of the entrance stairs and a small cupboard above the cab which also houses the ducted air conditioning unit and the electrical fuseboards.
Externally there is a wind out awning which extends 2 metres and has support legs. The vehicle has undertaken off road trials and performed remarkably well.
