Neat Vehicles latest expanding vehicle is this 5,600 Kg Displayflex Iveco Mobile Technology Information Unit for the West Of England Institute of Technology. The vehicle is built with an aluminium subframe to keep the weight down, features automatic hydraulic self levelling, hydraulic expanding pod with hinging aluminium entrance steps and hydraulic floor to give a flush level floor throughout. One of the advantages of this kind of vehicle is that there are no wheel arches to contend with in the layout so the seating can be flexible. The large LED screen is centrally fitted to give the ideal presentation tool for a classroom scenario, and the full length counter houses the air conditioning, electrics, hydraulics and an external locker space for a generator when its not plugged in. The windows at the front can be folded back to give an open front as most of our units can.
