Neat Vehicles were approached by Pineapple Contracts, a family business based in Kent, who have been manufacturing Mental Health and Hospital furniture for the last 50 years, to quote for a 3,500 Kg vehicle they had been proposed by another manufacturer. We showed them what could be done on one of our new Expanding Displayflex 5,600 Kg Vehicles which would give them twice the space, be fully self contained, have no generator and show off their other furniture as well as the main purpose of the product display, the ARC Washroom units. They loved the design and jumped at the opportunity to showcase their products in a new innovative way. As you can see from the pictures the end result speaks for itself, the product is highlighted and is also fully functional (the sinks and not the toilet in the centre). The Neat Displayflex exhibition vehicle has two Lithium Ion Batteries powering a 3 kva 240 Volt inverter and fed from an onboard charging system with three way charging, from the engine when driving along, from two large solar panels on the roof and from mains overnight charging. The two ARC Anti – Ligature sinks for the Mental Health sector, which were mounted on our specially modified wall frame have a release mechanism so that they pull away from the wall on sliders to access the plumbing behind. The Anti- Ligature ARC Toilet sits between the sinks and is also mounted to the frame. A 65″ LED screen is built into one end cupboard, which also houses the water supply, waste supply and pump for the sinks.

The Neat Displayflex 5600 Product Display Vehicle features some of Pineapple Contracts’ Medical furniture which will be free standing in the main area. The ease with which the vehicle is deployed and its self contained power systems are its main benefits. All the hydraulics and hinging mechanisms are designed with speed of set up in mind and for set up by one person only.

The hinging steps are a feature we have built into these units to save carrying and lashing them down, the other feature a lot of users like is the Auto Levelling system with hydraulic legs which level up the vehicle before the hydraulic pod comes out.

Another aspect to our units is the ability to have a completely open front as well as an enclosed front so in good weather or in an indoor exhibition the glass front can be folded back to give full visibility to the products displayed. The vehicle has numerous advantages over previous units, the lack of wheel arches being one which lends itself to flexibility of use, it can be a product display, a meeting area, an exhibition, or a demonstration unit for installing products.
