Neat deliver new 5600 Kg Mobile Classroom unit to West of England Institute of Technology

The Client

West of England Institute of Technology (IoT) is one of the Governments flagship programmes designed to spearhead the delivery of higher technical education in STEM subjects. They are bringing together employers with FE colleges and the University of the West of England in Bristol

The Objective

To provide a compliant vehicle for delivering the training necessary in a classroom scenario on a mobile unit

The Result

We designed the internal and external layout of the vehicle to fully meet their needs on a unit which could be set up easily and quickly by one person and deliver the classroom environment they needed.

Vehicle Features

  • Full paintwork in grey, including cab with logos in orange
  • Hydraulic Expansion with hydraulic floor operated by pendant
  • Internally mounted 65″ LED screen fitted incentre of rear wall flush in a built in column
  • Split System Air Conditioning built into column
  • Storage cabinets throughout
  • Folding and Modular chairs upholstered in orange and grey
  • Double Doors in centre with foldback glass panels giving open front
  • Full length cabinets down one side for monitors and laptops
  • No wheelarches
  • RGBW LED strip lighting on ceiling controlled by lighting panel
  • External portable generator cupboard
