ETZ use Neat Hydrogen Exhibition Vehicle to tour Schools and Industry in North East Scotland

The Client

ETZ Ltd is a private sector-led and not-for-profit company spearheading the North East of Scotland’s energy transition ambition. They are supported by significant ongoing funding from both the Scottish and UK Governments with a clear ambition to reposition the region as a globally recognised new and green energy cluster.

The Objective

To provide a vehicle to tour schools and community and industry events across North East Scotland to showcase the Energy Transition Skills Hub project which is part of the Energy Transition Zone (ETZ) and seek to inspire and engage pupils and industry to help deliver clean affordable and abundant energy.

The Result

A Dual fuelled Hydrogen powered 8000 Kg double expanding truck with all the facilities on board to enable classes of pupils to look at the different hands-on exhibits covering topics including wind, solar and carbon capture as well as showcasing the hydrogen power itself

Vehicle Features

  • Custom paintwork with Logos to outside
  • 5 metre hydraulic pod extends out 1.5 metres
  • Internally mounted 55″ LED screen fitted into rear pod
  • Colourful graphic wrap on internal walls
  • Glass panels and doors containing hydrogen equipment for observation
  • Demountable exhibits inside the exhibition space.
  • Hydraulic operation of pod, stage and canopy
  • Windows and front doors can fold in to give open frontage
  • Steps hinge down and polished stainless handrails drop in.
  • Air conditioning and Heating built into front room adjacent to hydrogen room
  • Flush hydraulic floor with no wheel arches gives flexibility of layouts
  • Disabled Lift at rear disabled entrance
