Neat Mobile Medical General Anaesthetic Operating Theatre for Nuffield Health

The biggest Theatre of them all, this 15 metre triple expanding demountable unit is designed and built from start to finish in our Nottinghamshire factory using our experienced craftsmen and British products wherever possible.

The unit lifts it’s 30 tonne weight up on four giant legs so a low loader trailer can go underneath it and transport it to the hospital or area where it is to be deployed. This one is shown in its bright green Nuffield colours and has all the features you will need for full General Anaesthetic procedures such as Orthopaedics and General Surgery. It features an Ultraclean Ventilation system with a laminar flow canopy over the operating table, with touchscreen controls which also control lighting, alarms, gas, Theatre warning and Laser Warning lights. A separate pod provides all the medical gases and also the vacuum pump system. At one end of the main unit in the largest plant room is the UCV and Air conditioning equipment and also an Anaesthetic Gas Scavenging System (A.G.S.S.) At the other end is a plant room with hydraulics, water, 10 kva UPS System, IPS System, Electrical Distribution, batteries, network cabling and Theatre Lighting backup system.

Going into the long link corridor there is an Anaesthetic room on the left through double access doors, this features gas valves, AGSS, cupboards, lockable drugs cabinet, sink, water heater, and fire and security alarms. Into the main theatre through double doors, there is a scrub sink with hinged anti splash screen, the touch screen control panel and the double operating Theatre light below the laminar flow UCV canopy which is 2.8 metres square.

A double door then leads from there to a recovery room and a dirty utility room with external steps. Another double door leads from recovery back into the corridor.

This unit complies with all NHS HTM regulations and the airflow has been tested to give 25 air changes an hour minimum in the theatre.
