North Norfolk Mobile Gym

This type of vehicle proved very popular with councils across the UK. It is a triple expandable 7,500 kg truck able to be driven on a normal pre 1997 car licence. On the offside is a hydraulic expandable pod , the nearside has hydraulically expanding stage and canopy which can either be fully enclosed with glazing or folded back as an open stage area.

On board is a sprung dance floor which is suitable for either dance, yoga, gymnastics, or a mobile gym. There is also a generator, air conditioning, lighting, with a small kitchen and store in the front.

The rear moulding is also hydraulic and fold down entrance steps and an electrical disabled lift is built underneath.

This unit was funded by Sport England who sponsored a number of projects of this type.
